Covid-19 poilcy and procedure.

We would all like to start working together again but first we must agree how, together, we manage the particular additional risks that Coronavirus/COVID-19 virus brings to our activities.

It is a condition of our offering services to you that you accept the following:

As you know, COVID 19 is contagious and that if we meet, you voluntarily accept the increased risk of exposure to the virus or being infected by it.

We have put in place preventative measures and procedures (please carefully read below). These are intended to reduce the spread of the virus, but Secret Circus Ltd, cannot guarantee that you will not be infected by the virus.

You also have responsibilities in trying to reduce the risk of infection to yourself and to others.  Please follow the NHS guidelines and, when with Secret Circus, follow our instructions and procedures as best you can.

What you will be asked to do:

  • Practice 2 metre social distancing rules.

  • Wait to be let into the studio by your instructor.

  • On entering the room please use the hand sanitiser dispenser provided.

  • Hang your items up on the hooks provided.

  • Find a station on the mats. Take everything you need to your station drinks, chalk etc.

  • Enjoy your aerial class!!!!

  • When your class is finished, collect your things and use the hand gel again before leaving.

  • Please bring your own chalk, we will not be able to provide communal chalk as before.

Please do not attend if you:

  • Are experiencing any symptom of illness such as a cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell.

  • Have travelled internationally or to a highly impacted area within the last 14 days.

  • Believe you have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the virus.

  • Have been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19 and not yet cleared as non- contagious.

What we are doing:

  • Keeping the class sizes small.

  • There will now be one piece of equipment between two students. Hopefully if we all come to the same class each week, this will also keep our bubbles smaller :)

  • You will be asked to rest in between your goes in a set position so we can keep everyone socially distanced. You can use as much hand sanitiser as you like.

  • Teaching on untapped hoops so that they are easily cleanable. These will be cleaned between each class.

  • Teaching hoop at a low level to reduce risks as we will not be able to spot due to social distancing.

  • We have a few sets of silks so after every class each set of silks will be decommissioned for 72 hours to heavily reduce the potential spread of the virus.

  • You will be asked to rest in between your goes in a set position so we can keep everyone socially distanced. You can use as much hand sanitiser as you like.

  • There will be a break in between each class for cleaning and to prevent an overlap of students.
